Contact
One address, read by a person. Say what you were doing and what you expected, and it can usually be dealt with quickly.
Reporting a wrong answer
This is the most useful thing you can send. Every tool page has a Report an error link that opens an email with the page address already filled in, and the corrections policy says what happens to a report. Include the tool, the values you entered with their units, the answer you got and the answer you expected. Better still, copy the link from the tool’s Copy link to this result button. It encodes every input, so the exact state you were looking at can be reproduced without guesswork.
Requesting a tool
Worth asking for. The most helpful requests name the equation and the context you would use it in, since the same formula often needs a different set of fields depending on whether it is being used at a bench, in a lecture or on a workbench.
Embedding a calculator
Every tool marked as embeddable has an Embed button that
gives you an iframe snippet to paste into a lesson page or LMS, and Embed a tool has the code for every one of them. Those
embeds carry no advertising and set no advertising cookies, so they are
safe to put in front of a class. Attribution back to the tool page is
included in the snippet; please leave it in place. You are free to mark it
rel="nofollow" if your site’s policy calls for it.
Privacy and data
What is stored, what is not, and how to change your advertising consent is set out in the privacy notice. If your question is about a specific piece of data, use the address above and say which tool and roughly when, and it can be looked into properly.
