A mass in square brackets is the mass number of the element’s longest-lived isotope, or of one of them where CIAAW lists several. Those elements have no standard atomic weight, because they have neither a stable isotope nor a characteristic isotopic composition on Earth. Lanthanum, lutetium, actinium and lawrencium are in group 3 or in the f-block depending on how a table draws group 3.

The values are facts and free to use; this table’s selection and presentation are © 2026 ScienceQuest.

Prefer to browse by position? The interactive periodic table lays the same data out as a grid, and the molar mass calculator adds these weights up for a whole formula.

To compare one property across the table, the periodic trends pages draw and rank electronegativity, atomic radius, first ionisation energy, electron affinity, melting point, boiling point and density.
